Keith Tallett was raised in Hawaii and his work begins where his own cultural background meets a broader social and cultural context. The process of making art becomes a way of navigating that dialogue.
Keith has a BA from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and an MFA from
the San Francisco Art Institute. He currently teaches at the University
of Hawaii at Hilo and at Hawaii Community College.
